Q: What time are the meals and may I have a guest?

The meals are at 8am, noon, and 5pm. You may have guests join you for a meal. There is a nominal fee and we request that you notify us 24 hours in advance, as our meals are cooked fresh daily.

When is the right time to move to an adult home?

Planning ahead and moving to a senior community allows you to take advantage of the benefits that can help extend your independence, improve our health, and outlook, and allow you to maintain control over your life.

Does Westminster Manor have visiting hours?

There are no restrictions on visiting our residents. At night, when the exterior doors are secured, visitors can gain access by pressing the doorbell. There is a minimum of two staff on each shift 24/7.

How may I decorate my room?

We encourage residents to decorate and furnish their room so they feel right at home, surrounded by their favorite furniture and keepsakes. Westminster Manor can also provide furniture at no additional cost.

Does Westminster Manor provide transportation for residents?

Westminster Manor has its own van for small groups going out on scheduled doctors appointments, hair appointments, and other miscellaneous errands.

Do you offer care for those with memory loss?

Westminster Manor is an Adult Home that supports residents with memory impairment by providing cues and reminders as needed.

Westminster Manor is operated on a 501(c)3 non-profit basis and is open to all adults on a non-sectarian basis. The services provide are in accordance with the facilities’ license from the NYSDOH. It is also affiliated with state trade associations, such as the Empire State Association for Adult Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. It is overseen by a Board of Directors.
